Aucuba japonica 'Goldilocks' (gold dust plant, Japanese laurel, spotted laurel) is an evergreen shrub with marbled yellow and green variegated leaves. Aucuba japonica 'Goldilocks' is an excellent drought tolerant plant that will brighten up your heavily shaded garden for year-round interest. Aucubas are great plants that will thrive in heavy shade.
