Camellia japonica 'Midnight Magic' is an evergreen shrub with green leaves and full peony form,  very dark red flowers with white petaloids.  Camellia japonica 'Midnight Magic' is great planted in mass or as a specimen where its very dark red flowers can be appreciated.  The flower color of Camellia japonica 'Midnight Magic' would be great used against a pale colored wall to emphasize the dark red flowers.  Thanks to Mike Chelednik for use of his photo.
