Philodendrom gloriosum

 Philodendron gloriosum is a tropical aroid that is native to Columbia.  It has velvety heart- shaped leaves that resemble an elephant ear with prominent white veins that make it one of the most distinctive looking philodendrons.   Philodendron gloriosum grows on a stem that will creep along the soil, so planting in a longer shaped pot or container is beneficial.  In pots it usually stays 2'-2.5' tall and in zones (10?)11 it can be planted in the ground and looks great as it spreads to cover large areas.
