Acer campestre 'Carnival'

Acer campestre 'Carnival' is a deciduous large shrub or small tree with green leaves broadly edged with white.  Acer campestre 'Carnival' is a stunningly variegated maple that appears to perform best in the PNW and struggles in the deeper SE USA and appears to like areas that have cooler nights during the summer.  Acer campestre makes a stunning specicmen and can also be grown as a large container plant.  Afternoon shade is needed to prevent leave burn.
