Acer caudatifolium "Variegated"

Acer caudatifolium "Variegated" is a deciduous tree with heavily variegated leaves and striped bark.  Acer caudatifolium "Variegated" is a beautiful small tree with heavily variegated leaves and is one of the stripe barked maple species and and has smooth, pale green bark with creamy colored stripes.  Acer caudatifolium "Variegated" is best used as a specimen in a partially shaded area where it has space to develop into a small tree and where its beautiful variegated leaves and striped bark can be enjoyed. As with other stripe barked maples, a partially shaded location with fairly rich, well drained (not dry) soil, is best.  We recieved Acer caudatifolium "Variegated" many years ago and we have misplaced the actual cultivar name - if anyone knows correct name, please let me know.  Thanks!
