'Roja Yatsubusa' leaves emerge bright chartreuse in the spring. Leaves tend to tightly wrap around the stems, giving 'Roja Yatsubusa' a full dense appearance. Leaves continue to emerge bright green with stand out to the dark green the leaves turn as they mature. In the fall the leaves turn a bright red with light green mid veins.
