As the summer heats up the leaves develop an emerald cast, creating a striking two-tone effect. As the cool temperature of fall arrive the leaves of 'Red Dawn' turn a bright crimson red. You can expect the Japanese maple 'Red Dawn' to reach 10 to 12ft high in 15 years.
