Aucuba japonica 'Arashiyama' (gold dust plant, Japanese laurel, spotted laurel) is an evergreen shrub with slightly contorted green leaves, lightly stippled with ivory and a very thin ivory margin which makes it stand out from other Aucuba cultivars. Aucuba japonica 'Arashiyama' is slow growing and compact. Aucuba are great plants that will thrive in heavy shade.
