Camellia 'Golden Phoenix'
Camellia 'Golden Phoenix'
Camellia sasanqua 'Golden Phoenix' is an evergreen shrub with green leaves with golden margins and pinkish white flowers in the Fall. Camellia sasanqua 'Golden Phoenix' was found as a seedling under a large Camellia sasanqua 'Narumigata' seedling and has flowers very much like 'Narumigata' and are very pale pink/white. Camellia sasanqua 'Golden Phoenix' is stunning in the garden where it adds a bright flash of color - best grown for its stunningly variegated leaves but does produce large quantities of blooms in the fall. Camellia sasanqua 'Golden Phoenix' is great in mass plantings or as a specimen and exhibits best color in a bright area - color is very pale green in grown in too much shade. Camellia sasanqua 'Golden Phoenix' is one of the best foliage plants we have in our plantings around the nursery and certainly will be noticed in your garden.
