Camellia transnokoensis "Hogan" has multitudes of small single white flowers and green leaves. Camellia transnokoensis is typically not very cold hardy, but this selection we received from Sean Hogan from Portland, OR has performed reasonably well here in eastern North Carolina. Low single digits F will cause some dieback, but it recovers well. Camellia transnokoensis "Hogan" has beautiful purplish red new growth that matures to green and makes a small upright plant in the garden. Camellia transnokoensis "Hogan" is a RARE, excellent choice where a smaller slow growing plant is needed. Thanks, Sean for this excellent addition to our collection!
