Hydrangea serrata 'Kokonoe-yama'

Hydrangea serrata 'Kokonoe-yama' is a compact, deciduous shrub with green leaves heavily frosted with silver that produces small clusters of lavender/pink blooms in the summer.  Hydrangea serrata 'Kokonoe-yama' is my personal favorite hydrangea that we grow due to its very compact growth habit and beautiful silver frosted foliage and lavender/pink flowers in the summer.  The flowers are held just above the stunning foliage and make for a spectacular display in the summer.  Hydrangea serrata 'Kokonoe-yama would make a fantastic border in front of a shaded woodland garden or can be used  as a specimen.
