Ilex x 'Solar Flare'

Ilex x 'Solar Flare' (holly)is an evergreen shrub with green leaves with bright yellow margins.  Ilex x 'Solar Flare' was found as a variegated mutation on Ilex x 'Oakleaf' by Joan Currier of the Unique Plant, Chapel Hill, NC and is a truly stunning addition to the holly world with it's bold bright yellow margined leaves.  Ilex x 'Solar Flare' can be used in mass plantings, hedges, or as a specimen.

• HARDINESS:  zones 6-9
• SIZE;  6-10' slowly  Easily pruned smaller
