Lithocarpus edulis 'Starburst'

Lithocarpus edulis 'Starburst' (Japanese evergreen stone oak) is an evergreen small tree or large shrub with green leaves with bright yellow/gold central variegation.  Lithocarpus edulis 'Starburst' is fairly fast growing and can be grown as a small tree or large shrub (can easily be pruned to keep smaller) and makes a beautiful background plant in your garden or as a stand-alone specimen.  Lithocarpus edulis 'Starburst' will produce small "acorns" (it is a close relative to Quercus) that are green and yellow striped.
