Metasequoia glyptostroboides 'Snow Flurry'

Metasequoia glyptostoboides 'Snow Flurry' is a large growing deciduous conifer with green leaves that are white frosted, changing to coppery tones in the Fall.  Metasequoia glyptostoboides 'Snow Flurry' was one of my early introductions from the early 1990's and can be found planted in gardens around the World now.  Metasequoia glyptostoboides 'Snow Flurry' is a very fast growing tree that makes a stunning specimen with it white frosted to white new growth.  Metasequoia glyptostoboides 'Snow Flurry' will express less color as it ages and is best to occasionally cut back hard (look up hat rack pruning) to keep the best white growth.Metasequoia glyptostoboides 'Snow Flurry' will tolerate a wide range of soil types but grows best in average to good garden soil with constant moisture and can be grown in areas that flood periodically.
