Acer oliverianum 'Hot Blonde' is a reported cross between Acer oliverianum and Acer palmatum and has beautiful golden spring foliage on an upright growing Japanese maple. Acer 'Hot Blonde' retains its bright yellow color through the summer and should have the heat adaptability of Acer oliverianum. Fall color is a fiery red and holds color for a long time. An exciting new introduction!
