Acer palmatum 'Peve Multicolor'is a variegated Japanese maple with sandusting reticulation - the leaves are white with green veins and pink to purple edges.  In summer the leaves darken to green but still show the sandusting pattern.  Acer palmatum 'Peve Multicolor' is very much like 'Ukigumo' - some years the variegation is stunning, some years barely, if at all present.  Suspect the color will be much better in the PNW but it can be stunning in warmer regions as well - just don't expect every year to be stunning.
