Acer palmatum 'Aratama' is a dwarf, red leaf Japanese maple that is fairly small growing.  During the summer, the older leaves with turn green and often have an orange cast to the leaves during hot weather.  An excellent dwarf Japanese maple to will fit into a small area in your garden.
