Acer palmatum 'Crimson Prince' is a large growing, red leaf Japanese maple that has a narrow growth habit than 'Bloodgood'.  Acer palmatum 'Crimson Prince' develops and unusual lavender tone to its leaves during the summer and has red fall color.
