Acer palmatum 'Garyu'

Acer palmatum 'Garyu' is an usual dwarf Japanese maple that has oddly shaped leaves that often are reddish colored in the spring.  Leaves are often twisted and lobed in unusual patterns and growth habit can be sprawling or sometimes even upright.  A very confused but totally awesome plant!  Acer palmatum 'Garyu' makes a perfect small specimen where space is limited.
