Acer palmatum 'Glowing Embers' is a green Japanese maple selected by Mike Dirr many years ago in Georgia and has proven to be exceptionally heat tolerant and landscape worthy.  The main feature of this plant is its glowing, fiery red fall color.  If you live in the deep SE USA, this is the maple for you!  Equally good in other parts of the country too.
