Acer palmatum  'Jiro Shidare' is an unusual weeping Japanese maple because it has typical Acer palmatum leaves, not the cut leaf dissectrum types that are typically weeping.   Best to stake 'Jiro Shidare'  initially to get plant up to the desired height you want, and then let weep down from there.  Spring and summer leaves are green, followed by a mix of reds and yellows for fall.

  • HARDINESS: zones 5-9
  • EXPOSURE:  part shade to sun
  • SIZE: depends on how high staked initially.
  • SHIPPING SIZE: 1/2 gallon container.  14" plant.
