Acer palmatum 'Kagiri Nishiki'is a variegated Japanese maple with cream and green variegated leaves and is similar to 'Butterfly' but grows faster and has a more open growth habit than 'Butterfly'.  Like all variegated Japanese maples, if you see a green branch, promptly remove to preserve variegation.
