Acer palmatum 'Lazy Susan' RARE New Release! We are thrilled to offering this new release from Ed Shinn - this is a seedling from 'Ryusen' but much lower growing (if that's possible!).  This Japanese maple grows totally flat on the ground - maybe 1" tall.  Ed Shinn has his growing in a hanging basket and it is remarkable.  This would be stunning cascading down a rock wall or by a waterfall, in a large container where it would spill over the side and make a drape across the ground, or could be staked/trained into any shape you can imagine.  Acer palmatum 'Ryusen' has produced some amazing seedlings and I think this is as low growing as is possible.  Acer palmatum 'Lazy Susan' is a very special plant!  Very limited availability this year.
