Acer palmatum 'Lemon Lime Lace' leaves emerges soft yellow in the spring with red tip lobes. As the leaves mature they turn a yellowish green. As the summer heat starts cranking up the leaves turn a chartreuse green but the new growth is the same as early spring. This is where the Acer palmatum  'Lemon Lime Lace' gets its name. Add in the fact that the leaves are in the laceleaf category and it has a weeping growth habit 'lemon lime lace' would create a solid focal tree in your garden. As the fall settles in 'Lemon Lime Lace' leaves will turn a yellow to yellow-orange. Expect 'Lemon Lime Lace' to reach 4 ft in high by 6 ft wide in 10 years.
