    Acer palmatum 'Mon Zukushi' is an ancient cultivar from Japan from 1704.  The fact that it is still in production hundreds of years later says a lot.  In spring, Acer palmatum 'Mon Zukushi' has green leaves tipped red, then changing to green.  Fall color is bright orange and red.
