 Acer shirasawanum 'Munn 001' leaves emerge in the early spring pink-red, that mature to chartreuse with pink-red highlights. All through the summer, the new growth continues to emerge a bright pink, while the under lying leaves range from pink to chartreuse give off a dramatic display in the landscape. As the cool temperate of fall  rolls in the leaves of 'Munn 001 turn bright oranges to deep red. You can expect 'Munn 001' to reach 8 to10ft high in 15 years. 'Munn001' received the 2016 Maple of the Year Award given by the North American Branch of the Maple Society. Munn 001 is an amazing full moon Japanese maple, that is vigorous, hardy and extremely beautiful making it a great selection for any garden.
