Acer palmatum 'Peaches and Cream' leaves emerge in the spring with bright green veins that overlay shades of pink-to-rose over a cream background which creates one of the best shows you will see on a Japanese maple. As the summer heat settles in, the leaves of 'Peaches and Cream' will turn a light green with the reticulated variegation turning white. In order to get the best color from 'Peaches and Cream', it is recommended to plant it in an area that gives it some shelter from the heat of the afternoon sun.
