Acer palmatum 'Sagara Nishiki' is a variegated Japanese maple with golden-pink leaves in the spring, changing to green leaves with yellow margins (here in the heat of the southeast USA the leaves tend to become mostly yellowish green by mid summer)  Acer palmatum 'Sagara Nishiki' will become a small tree and is one of my favorite Japanese maples in the spring.
