Acer palmatum 'Shidava Gold' leaves emerge in the spring with bright green leaves, that turn a rich green in the heat of summer. In the fall, Acer palmatum 'Shidava Gold' leaves turn a light yellow to deep rich yellow in color. After the leaves fall the bright green stems of  Acer palmatum 'Shidava Gold' are exposed to make one miss the warmer temperatures through out the winter months. Expect ‘Shidava Gold’ to reach 7-8ft high in 15 years.
