Acer palmatum 'Shigitatsu Sawa'

Acer palmatum 'Shigitatsu Sawa' is a stunning variegated Japanese maple that has white leaves with green veins (reticulated) in the spring. During summer the intensity of the color will fade to more green but you can still see the reticulation. Fall color is orange.   Acer palmatum 'Shigitatsu Sawa' and 'Beni Shigitatsu Sawa' are both old cultivars from Japan are are the original parents of most of the modern day reticulated cultivars.
