Acer palmatum 'Spring Blast' leaves emerge in the spring with a thick pink-red border on a reticulated ghost-like variegation. The leaves of 'Spring Blast' contain green veins are prominent in the early spring on a creamy white to creamy yellow leaf. Expect 'Spring Blast' to reach 8 ft high in 10 years. In order for the 'Spring Blast' reticulated variegation to last into the summer months, give it protection from the hot afternoon sun.
