Acer palmatum 'Strawberry Spring' leaves emerge in the spring with one of the most electric pinks of any Japanese maple. With dark green veins over laying the pink reticulated leaves. As the leaves of 'Strawberry Spring' mature, the pink begins to fade to a creamy green. Throughout the summer months the new growth of 'Strawberry Spring' returns to the pink new growth from the spring. ‘Strawberry Spring’ leaves turn orange to red in color during the fall. Expect ‘Strawberry Spring’ to reach 6 to 8 ft high  in 10 years.
