Acer shirasawanum 'Yasemin' leaves emerge in the spring a deep maroon that are more divided and larger than leaves of other shirasawanum. The leaves of 'Yasemin' turn a bright crimson red in the Fall. 'Yasemin' has the typical shape of other acer shirasawanum with a board crown that spreads out and reaches 12ft high in 15 years. 'Yasemin' has the excellent cold tolerance of acer shirasawanum background, making it a great selection for those in colder climate who want an excellent red fall feature in the garden. 'Yasemin' also has the ability to perform well in hot areas of the south.
