Acer sieboldianum 'Fire Flame' is a beautiful upright tree with an excellent growth form. The leaves of 'Fire Flame' emerge in the spring a grey-green color that continues through the summer. As the fall temperature cool the older leaves of Japanese maple 'Fire Flame' turn an brilliant yellow, while the newer growth turns a bright red. You should expect 'Firefall' to reach 8-10 ft high in 10 years.
