Asarum delavayi (Chinese Ginger) is an evergreen groundcover with large green leaves and large yellow and purple flowers. Asarum delavayi is one of the more striking Asarum species and has very large (8-10' long), glossy, evergreen leaves heavily mottled silver and huge (for Asarum) 3-4" flowers that are yellow and purple speckled. Great planted in a woodland garden with Hostas or other shade loving perennials. Best grown in fairly good soil that doesn't become excessively wet or dry.
