Aspidistra elatior 'Okame'

Aspidistra elatior 'Okame' is an evergreen groundcover with large green leaves with yellowish/white stripes.  Aspidistra elatior 'Okame' is a stunning, large growing aspidistra that is great in shaded, well drained woodland gardens.  Aspidistra elatior 'Okame' is fantastic as an accent plant or mass planting in a woodland garden.  Aspidistra elatior 'Okame' makes a wonderful, bold statement in a woodland garden and especially beautiful when planted with ferns but is equally fantastic under Japanese maples or other woodland trees or large shrubs.  Aspidistra elatior 'Okame' is beautiful in a container but must be moved inside during the winter in cold areas.
