Aucuba japonica 'Daisuke's Tiger'

Aucuba japonica 'Daisuke's Tiger' is an evergreen shrub with green leaves heavily speckled with yellow.  Aucuba japonica 'Daisuke's Tiger' is one of the most stunning of all aucubas with large green leaves very heavily speckled with bright yellow - almost to the point of being solid yellow leaves.  Best color is seen on 'Daisuke's Tiger' if planted in a fairly bright shady area - in heavy shade the color will be much more green.  Aucuba japonica 'Daisuke's Tiger' is great to add a brilliant flash of color in a bright woodland garden and can be used as a specimen and absolutely stunning in a mass planting.
