Aucuba japonica 'Little Angel' (gold dust plant, Japanese laurel, spotted laurel) is a small shrub with glossy dark green leaves. This beautiful, dwarf, compact plant was discovered at a nursery in Japan by Ted Stephens. Aucuba japonica 'Little Angel' is a female that will produce large red berries as long as there is a male acuba nearby. Aucubas are great plants that will thrive in heavy shade.
