Callicarpa americana 'Berries and Cream'

Callicarpa americana (American Beautyberry) 'Berries and Cream' is a deciduous shrub with green leaves margined and mottled with off white.  Callicarpa americana 'Berries and Cream' is a showy, deciduous shrub with leaves edged and mottled with off white and will produce abundant clusters of purple (we have not grown this long enough yet to see fruit color, but expect purple, but might be white) fruits in late summer into early winter.  The fruits are enjoyed by a wide variety of birds and other animals.  Callicarpa americana 'Berries and Cream' is happy in a bright woodland site or in full sun (might get some leaf burn in hotter parts of the country) and is useful as a specimen or a can be planted in masses or mixed shrub borders.
