Camellia japonica 'Govenor's Gala' is a rare new variegated sport found by Mike Chelednik from Camellia japonica 'Governor Mouton'.  Camellia japonica 'Governor's Gala' has red/white splashed/blotched, peony-form flowers, with creamy white splashed, streaked, margined variegated foliage.  Camellia japonica 'Governor's Gala' is an EXCLUSIVE NEW RELEASE from Garden Treasures.  We are thrilled that Mike allowed us to release this exciting new camellia!  NEW and AWESOME! Camellia japonica 'Governor's Gala' is great as a specimen or can be used in mass plantings in shade to part shade.  We appreciate any feedback on hardiness you can give us - especially from zones 6-7a
