Camellia japonica "Brent Heath selection" is an evergreen shrub with dark green, glossy leaves, and single flowers that can be striped, margined, sectored with white, red and pink. Camellia japonica "Brent Heath selection" was discovered in the garden of our dear friend, Brent Heath (Brent and Becky's bulbs - best bulb nursery in the country!!!) and is rather difficult to describe. The flowers are EXREMELY variable and refuse to be defined as any specific color pattern. Flowers are single and can be any combination of white, red and pink. Most common pattern is white with red stripes or sectorial color blocks but can occasionally be sold colors or even with picote/margined flowers. Every branch might display a different color or pattern. Camellia japonica "Brent Heath selection" is amazing and can be used in mass plantings, a hedge or border, or as a specimen.
