Camellia japonica 'Tama Americana'

Camellia japonica 'Tama Americana' is an evergreen shrub with semi double, red flowers with white border.  Camellia japonica 'Tama Americana' is a stunning red flowered camellia with vey broad white margins, creating a dazzling color combination.  For us here is eastern NC it is not uncommon to have a few flowers on 'Tama Americana' around Christmas and heavier blooms in the spring.  Camellia japonica 'Tama Americana' is great mixed with other shrubs, in mass plantings or as a specimen.  Bright shade  and average garden soil is preferred.  Truly a beautiful plant!
