Camellia minutiflora is a little-grown Chinese species that's proving to be an attractive, fine-textured landscape plant for the Southeast US. It grows into a mound (eventual height of probably 10-12'), and the tiny foliage gives it a lacy appearance. In late winter tiny fragrant flowers are borne in profusion up and down the branches. Native to the Chinese Provinces of Jiangxi, Guangdong, and Hong Kong. Probably first introduced into the US by the late Cliff Parks. This plant is fairly difficult to propagate and we don't have a lot available this year.
