Camellia sinensis 'Fuiri' RARE

Camellia sinensis 'Fuiri' (Tea Camellia) is a small evergreen shrub with green leaves that are margined with white and also splashed with yellow.  Camellia sinensis 'Fuiri' is a RARE Tea Camellia (yes, it makes good tea!) that is slow growing and has green leaves with white margins and randomly splashed with yellow.  Camellia sinensis 'Fuiri' makes an excellent small shrub for a bright to sunny area in the garden and is worth growing for its stunning foliage alone but has the added bonus of being covered with small, slightly fragrant, white flowers in late summer and early fall that are LOVED by honey bees!  'Fuiri' Tea Camellia can be used as a fantastic specimen, great in mass plantings, and is also good for tea production - it produces a very mild flavored green tea that is extremely pleasant to drink.
