Camellia vietnamensis (Cliff Parks clone) RARE

Camellia vietnamensis is an evergreen shrub with single, white flowers.  Camellia vietnamensis (Cliff Parks Clone)  is one of our very best species camellias - we obtained this clone from the late Cliff Parks and it has proven to be extremely cold hardy and durable.  We know of a few large plants (Cliff Parks clone) in a nursery in NW Florida - they have experienced some extremely bad winters there over the years, and the plants have thrived.  Other clones of Camellia vietnamensis have been badly damaged.  Camellia vietnamensis (Cliff Parks clone) has bronzy colored new growth and has large (3-4") single, white flowers in the fall.  This specific clone has been used to produce some outstanding hybrids (we hope to offer some of them in the near future) and appears to be very fertile and excellent as a parent, in case you want to try breeding Camellias.  The RARE and unique clone of Camellia vietnamensis is a must have for any collection of species camellias and deserves a place in most any garden.  Truly an outstanding plant!
