Camellia x 'Christmas Candy' is a hybrid from Bobby Green/Green Nurseries, of Fairhope, Alabama.  Blooms (at least in NC) during the C. x vernalis bloom period - typically December and January. An open-pollinated seedling of Camellia x vernalis 'Egao' - the pollen parent is assumed to be 'Tama No Ura'.  Make a mounding, semi-weeping shrub. *Very similar to 'Christmas Carol' - in fact the seed for both came out of the same pod
