Camellia x vernalis 'Egao Corkscrew'

Camellia x vernalis 'Egao Corkscrew' is an evergreen shrub or small tree with green leaves, contorted branches and double, pink flowers in the spring.  Camellia x vernalis 'Egao Corkscrew' is an amazing mutation from 'Egao' and has stunning, contorted blanches and large, double, pink flowers in the spring.  Camellia x vernalis 'Egao Corkscrew' is best planted as a specimen where its beautiful, contorted branches can be enjoyed and could  be used as a stunning container plant as well (it does become fairly large in time, so a large container or prune to maintain size and emphasize the contorted branches).  I can visualize Camellia x vernalis 'Egao Corkscrew' and an incredible bonsai even!  We grow a lot of different contorted camellias and this is one of my personal favorites!
