Carex 'Lunar Falls' (plant patent applied for) has stunning evergreen foliage with broad white margins.  When I saw Carex 'Feather Falls' at a garden center in Christchurch, NZ in 2019, it was love at first sight and then a few years later, we found a tissue culture mutation that is even more spectacular.  Carex 'Lunar Falls' has a white margin that is about 2 times wider than 'Feather Falls' - basically a white leaf with small green sripe down the center.  Garden Treasures Nursery is primarily a rare woody nursery and my first love has always been woody plants.  Carex 'Feather Falls' has moved in my TOP 5 all time favorite plants and now Carex 'Lunar Falls' is even higher rated!  When we have shown Carex 'Lunar Falls' to our customers and few actually squealled in excitement!  The response has been incredible and we are thrilled to be releasing this amazing new plant!
