Chamaecyparis obtusa 'Butterball' (Hinoki cypress) is a dwarf conifer with golden foliage.  Chamaecyparis obtusa 'Butterball' is EXTREMELY glow growing and is best used as a specimen in a rock garder, trough garden or container and colors best in full sun.  Chamaecyparis obtusa 'Butterball' typically grows less than 1 inch per year and plants we offer are 5-6 years old.  Chamaecyparis obtusa 'Butterball' will make a bright statement in your dwarf conifer collection!
