Chamaecyparis thyoides 'Ericoides'

Chamaecyparis thyoides 'Ericoides' (Atlantic White Cedar) is an upright growing evergreen conifer with feathery, blue/gray foliage.  Chamaecyparis thyoides 'Ericoides' is a slow growing, upright form of Atlantic White Cedar than has leaves that have remained in the juvenile form (feathery and blue/gray and turn plum purple in the winter) and like other Chamaecyparis thyoides, will tolerate fairly wet soil and occasional flooding.  Chamaecyparis thyoides 'Ericoides' is useful as a slow growing hedge or specimen plant.  Would be nice in a large planting mixed with large growing grasses and tall native perennials.
